How to connect

  1. Open your channel settings (or connect during channel creation)
  2. Click Connect YouTube
  3. A Google OAuth window opens
  4. Sign in with the Google account that owns your YouTube channel
  5. Grant Hyperclip permission to upload videos

  7. You’re connected — videos can now be uploaded directly

Permissions

Hyperclip requests the minimum permissions needed:
  • Upload videos — To publish your generated videos
  • Read channel info — To display your channel name and stats
Hyperclip does not request permission to delete videos, modify existing content, or access private data.

Disconnecting

To disconnect your YouTube account:
  1. Go to channel settings
  2. Click Disconnect YouTube
  3. The connection is removed immediately
You can also revoke access from your Google account security settings.

Troubleshooting

  • OAuth popup blocked — Allow popups for hyperclip.co in your browser settings
  • Wrong YouTube channel — Disconnect and reconnect with the correct Google account
  • Permission denied — Make sure you’re signed into the Google account that manages the YouTube channel
