Node Controls

Every node in the flow editor shares a set of common controls. This page explains what each one does.

Node Type

The dropdown at the top of each node selects what the node does — script generation, image generation, video editing, etc. Changing the node type resets the AI model selection.

Execution Mode (Background / Interactive)

Each node can run in one of two modes:
  • Interactive — the flow pauses at this node and shows a UI for you to review, edit, or configure before continuing.
  • Background — the node runs automatically without stopping the flow. Use this for steps that don’t need manual review.
Some nodes are always interactive (e.g., Media Upload, Review) because they require user input.

Credit Cost

The credit badge in the node header shows the estimated cost each time the node runs. Cost depends on the selected AI model — switching to a different model may change it. See Credit System for details.

AI Model

Nodes that use AI processing let you pick which model to use. Different models vary in quality, speed, and credit cost. See AI Models for a comparison.

Advanced Options

Some models expose extra parameters like aspect ratio, duration, guidance scale, or seed. These are tucked inside a collapsible section. The defaults work well for most cases — adjust them when you need fine control.

Choice Groups

Nodes in the same choice group run in parallel during the flow. The user picks the best result and discards the rest. Assign a color to each group to tell them apart visually. See Parallel Groups for more.

Handles (Ports)

Handles are the colored dots on the left (inputs) and right (outputs) of each node. They carry data between nodes: Array variants (e.g., Video[]) carry multiple items. Use a Split node to process each item individually.
