Your First Video
This guide walks you through creating a complete AI-generated video from scratch.
1. Choose or create a channel
If you don’t have a channel yet, create one first. Each channel has a niche that defines its video generation workflow.
2. Start a new video run
- Open your channel from the dashboard
- Click Create Video
- The flow runner launches with your channel’s workflow
3. Work through the flow
The flow runner presents steps one at a time. There are two types of steps:
Interactive steps
These require your input:
- Text Input — Type your video topic or concept
- Media Upload — Upload images or videos
- Text Editor — Edit generated text
- Review — Preview and approve/regenerate media
- Auto Captions — Configure caption styling
- Voiceover — Select a voice and preview audio
- Background Audio — Search and select background music
Background steps
These run automatically without your input:
- Script generation
- Image generation
- Video generation
- AI transforms
Background steps show a loading spinner. Wait for them to complete before moving to the next interactive step.
4. Review your results
At each Review step, you can:
- Preview the generated image or video
- Approve to continue to the next step
- Regenerate to try again with the same or different settings
5. Export
On the final Approve & Export step:
- Review the assembled video
- Click Export to render
- Download the video or upload to YouTube
Tips for better results
- Write clear, specific prompts for your video topic
- Use the Multi-Shot Generation node for longer, more structured videos
- Experiment with different AI models — each has different strengths
- Check model costs to optimize your credit usage
