Background Audio

The Background Audio node lets you search and add royalty-free background music to your video from Hyperclip’s built-in track library.

How it works

  1. Receives a video from the input handle
  2. Search the royalty-free music library by keyword, mood, or genre
  3. Preview tracks and select one
  4. The selected track is mixed into the video as background audio
  5. The video with background audio is output

Configuration options

No engine selection needed. The first matching track is picked automatically (no preview / selection step in API runs). For API runs, pass under model_overrides[step]: At least one of _audio_default_query or _audio_default_tags must be present, or the node no-ops.

Free — 0 credits.

Tips

  • This node is interactive — you search and select music during flow execution
  • Search by mood keywords like “upbeat”, “cinematic”, “calm” for best results
  • The music is mixed at a lower volume to not overpower voiceover
  • Place this after Voiceover if you want both narration and background music
